History of the temple
The construction work of Maha Sadashiv temple has been done by Vigyan Singh. Who got the artisans of Orissa here in Gumla and got this grand temple constructed. This temple was consecrated by Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Swapanand Saraswati in 2019.
In this temple, a statue of Lord Shiva with 26 faces and 52 arms has been installed. Which is the only one in the whole of Jharkhand. Apart from this, idols of other gods and goddesses have also been installed, which have been given the form of a statue by carving black stone.
