One has to climb 600 steps to reach the height of 1300 feet on the top of the hill. There are 2 ways to reach here. On foot and by dirt road. Climbing on foot takes 2 to 3 hours. Using the dirt road, it takes 1 hour by small vehicle or bike.
The path is very rough. It is best to go on foot through the bushes, forests and mountains. A fair is organized every year on Shivratri in this Shiv temple. On Shivratri, a fair is held for 3 days on this Dharani hill. In which local devotees and devotees from other districts also come.

Natural water sources of Dharani hill
There is no water source on Dharani hill. To meet the water shortage, people living near Dharani hill Shiva temple take drinking water from the foot of the hill every day. There is a government house at the place where the stairs to the hill start.


There is a hand pump near the same house. One has to go down about 1300 feet from the hill. Here, the water sources around the hill depend on the rain water. The view around the hill becomes green only when it rains.
