Bhadrakali Temple is a grand temple located near Paras Nath hill in Chatra district of India. Mother Bhadra Kali is worshipped in this temple. From a historical point of view, this is the confluence of Buddhism and Jainism. This temple belongs to the epic period.

Bhadrakali Temple become built via King Mahendra pal of the pal dynasty among 988 and 1038. Mahendra Pal was the ruler of Bengal. Under whom was Magadh Griha. Talking about the premises of the temple, it is situated in 158 acres of land. A total of 14 statues have been installed in the premises of this temple. The main temple has the statue of Maa Bhadrakali. Along with this, the statue of Mangala Gauri is also present.

Along with Maa Bhadrakali, the statue of Maa Durga Devi with eight arms was also present. The statue of Maa Durga Devi was stolen in 1968. The Panch Mukhi statue of Shri Ram devotee Hanuman ji is present in the temple premises. There is a crowd of devotees here.

Lord Buddha Stupa is situated in the northwest direction of the temple premises. In which 1004 small and four big statues of Lord Buddha are engraved in different postures. Water keeps coming out automatically from the pit on the top of this stupa, which is still a matter of surprise for science.
