It is located at a distance of about 100 km from Jhumri Tilaiya town in Kojarma district of Jharkhand state. It is approximately 22 km from Koderma.
If you want to come from Koderma in Jharkhand, then first you have to come to Barhi Chowk on Jhumri Tilaiya bypass road. If you ask anyone about Gayatri Mandir from here, anyone will tell you.
Next to the Gayatri temple is Indra Basti mohalla. From there, you have to keep walking on the road for 3 to 4 kms from this mohalla. Going ahead, there are two paths. You can go by any of the paths. Both those paths lead to Jharna Kund Dham temple. You can come here by bike or car.
Anyone who likes adventure can come here. Because this temple is located inside the forest. The maximum crowd is seen here in the month of Shravan. On other days, there is a little less crowd here. Every Monday, a large number of devotees come to worship in Jharna Kund Dham temple.
No big animal is seen in this forest. So there is nothing to be afraid of. You can find small wild animals. Which will run away as soon as they see you. Many birds can be seen here.
The most pigeon birds can be seen in the temple premises. Many pigeons come here to peck their grains. The priests here feed the pigeons daily.

These doors are installed in the houses so that no wild animal can enter the houses. People of the tribal community live in this village. Which is located in the middle of the forest.
These people make their living by farming and animal husbandry. Not a single house made of concrete or cement is seen in this village. All the houses are made of wood and mud.

It is said that Jharna Kund Dham was established by the local residents in ancient times. Local people say that Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana came to this area during their exile. There was a natural waterfall at this place, which was called ‘Jharna Kund’.
