Kechki Sangam is situated at the confluence of Auranga River and Koyal River at a distance of about 19 kilometers from Daltonganj. This is a picnic spot. This area is still under construction, but some infrastructure has been built.

This place is being developed as a park by Jharkhand Tourist Development Corporation. There is a parking area and some sitting places with shade. Proper security service is provided here on any special occasion or occasion. So some local people will be found roaming here and there.

Avoid coming here as a couple. Great for groups, families. Best for picnics and spending some good time. Currently, it can be reached by a dirt road. Kechki Sangam site also attracts film stars. Film directors have shot films here. In 1973-74, famous actress Sharmila Tagore came here under the direction of film director Satyajit Ray. Kechki Sangam site was made very popular by shooting the Bengali film Aranyer Din Ratri.

Deputy Director of Palamu Tiger Reserve Prajeshkant Jena told that the responsibility of tourism at Kechki Sangam has been given to the Eco Development Committee. The committee will take the final decision on the entry fee.

There is a plan to provide employment to more than 50 youth of the area through tourism activity. Such initiatives will also provide employment to a large number of women of the area.

This year, the Eco Development Committee (EDC) has a proposal to fix a fee of Rs 5 per tourist. An entry fee of Rs 5 per tourist can be fixed.

Facility for tourists at Kechki Sangam

The Forest Department has made arrangements for the tourists who rest at night on this Kechki Sangam beach. A rest house has been built here for the tourists by the Forest Department. Although it is quite old, many tourists who come here like to stay here at night.
