History of Moti Jharna
In 1470, Raja Man Singh was informed by his sailors that there is a huge waterfall near the hill of Maharajpur. A Shivling is situated in a cave near that waterfall. At that time, Moti Jharna was completely covered with bushes and jungles. It took 2 years to clean the jungle of this Moti Jharna. This waterfall is named after Moti Nath (Lord Shiva) near the waterfall.
Even after the death of Raja Man Singh, this Moti Jharna remained deserted for 200 years. No one paid any attention to it. Even the local people here did not pay special attention to this waterfall. At that time, many dacoits and bad people had camped around this waterfall.
