All the necessary work that should be done for the dam was done. In the past few days, the condition of this dam has deteriorated a bit. In 2021, the government again sanctioned Rs 58 crore for the repair of Nandini Dam.
So that its incomplete work could be completed. And whatever work was done. For its repair, Punh Canal, bridge and wherever there is some damage, all the places will be repaired.

A few years ago, the maximum barren land was found in Caro and Bhandra blocks and other areas of Lohardaga district. Earlier, farming was less here. Farming was done in those fields which were in the lower reaches. Where water used to stagnate or accumulate in case of slight rainfall.
There are many such areas around here, where farming has got main priority with the help of dam water. The main reason for building the dam was to reduce the water problem of the farmers here. The dry and barren land here had to be made fertile.
