Parvat Vihar Project, Jamtara, This project was conceived and started by Shri Vaidehi Sharan Mishra, I.M.S. Deputy Commissioner, Jamtara with the objective of highlighting the ultimate beauty of the hills situated at Pathruchapada and presenting it to the nature-loving public of Jharkhand.

The green fields spread around these hills full of natural scenery, the flowing Ajay river, the silent music of the dark rocks, the sound of the Mandar rising from the nearby Santhal villages, all present a tremendously captivating sight.

Parvat Vihar Project was completed in several phases. The first phase includes development of high hills and adjacent areas, Shisu Park, Animal Park, View Tower, Lighthouse and Electricity System, Green Building, Sunrise, Sunset and River Viewing, Peripheral and Connectivity Path, Water Supply, Afforestation and Development Facilities.

Boating and musical fountain facilities in the lake constructed in a planned manner below the hill will be the features of the second phase. Boating in Ajay river, water sports, waterfalls on the hills and ropeways will be completed in the final phase.
