First of all, the desire arose in the minds of rural teenagers that a small temple should be built at this place. Funds were collected for this purpose. A committee was formed and a resolution was taken to build the Surya Mandir. Vinod Shankar Darad, Rameshwar Prasad Verma, Sunil Ji, Ashok Pathak Ji, Domi Singh, Naveen Ji, Umesh Sao, Arjun Prasad Darad, Ranjit Ram, Ranjit Ram Gupta, Surendra Sah Shyam Sundar Sao, Dular Singh, Churaman Ram etc.
Together made an idol of Lord Surya and started worshipping it. Later this temple became famous as Jaliya Surya Mandir.
